Alexander has long expected he would fight Kimbo

Houston Alexander admits that he has long believes that he would someday fight with Kimbo Slice.

The fight between the two has been officially confirmed for Saturday night’s Ultimate Fighter Finale.

“I knew a year or so ago that I was going to fight Kimbo,” Alexander told Mike Chiapetta on the Inside the Ultimate Fighter podcast.

“I knew that one of these days I was going to end up having to fight Kimbo.”

“I’m going in there with that frame of mind,” Alexander said. “Hey, this is war.”

Alexander insists the fight is pure business and that he has no personal problems with Kimbo.

“He’s a father like me, has kids like I do,” Alexander said. “He’s making money doing something he loves, and from what I’ve heard he’s a nice person.”
