Brazilian champion Anderson Silva insists the middleweight division is his sole focus, despite speculation that he might be moving up to light-heavyweight.
Dan Henderson looks set to be Silva’s next challenger for his middleweight title.
“Middleweight class is my big deal and it’s the title I will keep. I haven’t got the intention to dispute the light-heavyweight belt. That’s up to Rogerio Minotouro,” Silva revealed to Fighters Only Magazine.
“There are still some tough fighters at 185. I’d go up in class if Lyoto wasn’t the title holder and Minotouro wasn’t coming over. But today my problem is in my division where I want to finish my career, and that is what really matters.”
