Anderson undergoes elbow surgery

UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva has undergone an surgery on his right elbow.
The operation on the Brazilian’s elbow took place last week, according to an MMA Weekly report.
“They found some things that they weren’t aware of (during the surgery), which is a good thing,“ Silva’s manager Ed Soares told MMA Weekly.
“If we’re going to be fighting for the title, we want to make sure Anderson’s 100-percent.”
UFC president Dana White has previously hinted that Vitor Belfort would face Anderson Silva on January 2nd at UFC 108, but that title fight might be off now.
“It’s doctor’s decision,” Silva said. “My elbow is hurt, but my doctor said come back to training, come back to fight.”
