Arona keen to talk with White

Former PRIDE star Ricardo Arona has admitted he would like to talk with UFC president Dana White at the annual UFC Fan Expo this week.

Arona will be attending the Fan Expo with his friend Rogerio Nogueira. Arona is keen to talk with White as he wants a contract with the UFC.

“I’m going for other reasons, to give a support to [Rogerio], merchandising… While I am there, I hope I can talk to Dana White, but we don’t have nothing settled or scheduled,” he told Brazilian website Tatame.

“I’m going to meet the guys… I don’t know if I’ll get there right on time, but I’ll do what I can to help [Rogerio]. I just came back to training now, in a slow way because of my knee, but this recovery part is almost done. I’m training so I can be at my best and can come back to business.”
