Brazilian MMA star Vitor Belfort marked his return to the Octagon with an impressive win over former middleweight Rich Franklin.
Belfort made his first appearance in the UFC since February 2005 and managed to get a first round knockout win.
Belfort could be close to a fight against champion Anderson Silva, following his win.
The 32-year-old said: “I trained so hard — I’m away from my family for almost three months.
“I don’t know how I do it, I guess God gave me the gift of speed and power and I’m using it in the right way.”
Belfort added: “I’m here to work and Anderson is my friend and I like him as a fighter — he’s a great fighter.
“If Dana and Frank Fertitta decide… I’m an employee and I’m here to fight anyone who steps in the ring.”
