Bellator Fighting Championships has confirmed the signing of Roger Huerta to a multi-fight deal.
Huerta has a 20-3-1 record in MMA and his contract with the UFC was recently completed.
The 26-year-old will make his debut for Bellator on April 8th.
“I talked to a lot of other organisations, Bellator was the one that stood out to me,” Huerta said during a press conference.
Huerta insists there are ‘no hard feelings’ between him and the UFC, who he did not re-sign with.
“There are no hard feelings at all, I had a good relationship with them when I was going out the door. I feel blessed, I wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for the UFC. More power to them,” he said.
“[Now] I am here to be the fighter I can be. You guys are going to see the best of me, the fighter you always wanted to see.”
