Bisping confident ahead of fight with Henderson

Michael Bisping is confident ahead of his fight with Dan Henderson at UFC 100 in Las Vegas.

The pair have spent a lot of time around each other as coached on series nine of The Ultimate Fighter.

“Spending so much time around him has given me confidence,” Bisping told Setanta Sports’ Ultimate Talk show.

“I grew up watching him as a bit of a legend in MMA, so being around him has given me confidence.

“Going into the fight I’m very confident. I know he’s going to lose.

“My plan for this is simple. I’m going to win every minute of every round for the whole fight.

“I’m going to be too big for him, too fast, his striking is nowhere near my level, all I’ve got to watch out for is his big right hand out of the clinch.

“As long as I avoid that, it’s my fight to lose.”

The winner of the fight between Bisping and former Pride champion Dan Henderson will get a fight for the UFC middleweight title.
