Bisping would knock out Maia

Michael Bisping is confident he would have won a fight between himself and Brazilian fighter Damian Maia.

It is believed the two top middleweights will face each other for a title fight in the future

Maia has impressed in The UFC but Bisping believes the Brazilian would not be a ‘huge test’ for him.

“Demian has a great ground game, if not one of the best in the world,” Bisping told Setanta Sports.

“I think the thing is he would need to take me down to the ground…and I don’t think he could.

“I would knock him out.

“I do think he’s a huge test and I have ultimate respect for the guy, but I think he’s a bit of a one-trick pony.

“If he can’t get me to the ground, he’s stuffed.”
