Junie Browning believes he is ‘a big step up’ for Cole Miller, who he faces in his next fight at UFC Fight Night 18 in April.
Browning reckons he is a lot better than anybody Miller has fought before in his career.
He told Fighters Only Magazine: “I don’t necessarily think Cole is one of the top guys in the UFC… He’s not that good. To be honest, I’m really not that concerned with what he brings to the table. He’s a good fighter – but I feel I’m a big step up for Cole.
“I have to be aware of his reach and his triangle and that’s about it. Everything else is straightforward. I think I’m better than him at everything. I’m better than him standing and on the ground.”
Browning added on the trash talk ahead of the fight: “I don’t take anything personal before a fight. He’s been saying some stuff, but it all means nothing when we both stare across at one another in the Octagon. I think he knows what the outcome is going to be in this fight. He’s just pretty upset that he’s going to get beaten up.”
“Nothing bothers me. I know how this fight is going to finish and it’s going to finish with my arm raised. That’s all I need to know going into this fight with Cole. I probably would have let his talking bother me in the past, but I’m not going to let anything get to me from now on.”
