Condit confident ahead of fight with Kampmann

Carlos Condit is ready to show why he is the WEC welterweight champion against Martin Kampmann at UFN 18 on Thursday.

Condit, who has won his last four by submission, insists he does not fear the Dane.

“Kampmann’s very tough, he’s got a lot of experience in The UFC, he’s well-rounded and he’s a very dangerous opponent,” Condit told Setanta Sports.

“I know that he’s very skilled in submissions…I’m no slouch myself on the ground so I’ll be ready for him.

“I’m just concentrating on continuing my winning streak, continuing to finish guys.

“I’ve tightened up my game, taken a step back on the basics, tightened up my technique in the stand-up…I’m feeling good.”
