Dana hits out at CroCop

UFC president Dana White has blasted Mirko ‘CroCop’ Filipovic for joining DREAM yesterday.

Filipovic confirmed he has signed a three-fight deal with DREAM, after his UFC 99 fight with Mostaphal Al-Turk on Saturday.

This was Filipovic’s return to the UFC and sources tells Fighters Only Magazine that the Croatian fighter only used the fight to get more money from DREAM.

White insists he had a verbal agreement with Filipovic for at least two more fights.

White told Yahoo! Sports: “He fucked me.

“Isn’t that a dirty fucking thing to do? He fucked me. The first time in the history of the company I do one over the phone. He promised me a three-fight deal and he fucked me. He didn’t keep his word,” White said.

“He talked about honor and all this other shit and he fucked me.”

He added: “He turned down every other fucking fighter I offered him, because I needed him to fight Cain [Velasquez]. He didn’t just poke Al-Turk; he poked me, too.”
