De Jong believes Overeem would have no problems beating Fedor

Alistair Overeem’s coach Martin De Jong, believes his client ‘would kick the shit out of Fedor Emelianenko’.

Reports suggest a meeting between Strikeforce heavyweight champion Overeem and Fedor is set to take place in the third-quarter of 2010.

De Jong spoke told MMA Fighting: “I feel very good about Alistair’s chances. Fedor’s striking isn’t even close to Alistair’s. Technically, Alistair’s striking is way ahead of Fedor’s. If Fedor ever fought in K-1, they’d kick the s**t out of him. People don’t realize how good Alistair’s ground game is.”
