Diaz ready to fight Zaramoskis

Strikeforce welterweight champion Nick Diaz insists he is happy to fight Dream champion Marius Zaromskis for the title in Miami, Florida.

Diaz insists it does not matter who he fights as long as he is fighting. Diaz told a Strikeforce post-fight press conference on Saturday night that he believes the fight against Zaromskis will be important.

“I’m just interested in fighting the better fight that’s put in front of me,” Diaz said. “I’ve got a manager and he makes a lot of decisions and I’ll train up and fight whoever I’m going to fight.”

“I’m just happy to be fighting someone important like this, the Dream champion,” Diaz stated.
