Fedor to fight Wedum in April

Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker has revealed that he expects Fedor Emelianenko to fight Fabricio Werdum in April.

Several heavyweight fighters have been linked with a fight against the Russian since his win over Brett Rogers last month.

“It’s not confirmed… (but) on that fight card, you’ll most likely see Fedor fighting Fabricio (Werdum),” he told Fighters Only Magazine.

“It’s not guaranteed, but you will see Dan Henderson fighting on that card, and Gina Carano, we’ll invite her if she’s ready.”

Fedor has agreed to fight in April on a Strikeforce event that will be broadcasted on CBS.
