Fedor will not fight on Strikeforce card in April

Russian MMA star Fedor Emelianenko will not feature on the Strikeforce card in April, according to M-1 Global.

Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker confirmed on Thursday that they will have a card in Nashville on April 17.

M-1 Global told TV 100 at a press conference on Thursday that Fedor’s next fight will be against Fabricio Werdum in May.

Fedor was expected to take part at the Strikeforce card in April.

MMA Fighting reports that a middleweight title bout could now be the main event of Strikeforce’s April card.
