Florian expects Hendo to beat Bisping

American lightweight Kenny Florian believes Dan Henderson will beat British star Michael Bisping.

Bisping will face Henderson in the co-main event at UFC 100 in July and Florian believes Hendo will benefit from his extra experience.

Florian told The Sun: “I’ve really become a big fan of Michael Bisping.

"He’s one of those fighters who people doubted from the first day but he’s come back since his performance against Matt Hamill so well and looks great at 185lbs.

“You can appreciate him so much more when you look at how well Rashad Evans is doing at 205lbs.

“There was an argument that Bisping actually won the fight they had and that was at 205lbs so now he’s at middleweight I really expect big things from him.

“He puts it together so well. Some people might criticise his stand up or his ground game, but there are few people who can put it better together than Michael Bisping right now.

“There’s no doubt about it, he can beat Dan Henderson – he’s getting better all the time.

“If he can control the pace of the fight and use his footwork like he did against Chris Leben, it’s going to be a tough, tough fight for Dan.

“Based on experience – and it’s a very tough call – I would go with Henderson to win.

“But it could go either way.”
