UFC superstar Georges St. Pierre has talked down a middleweight fight with Brazilian star Anderson Silva.
Fans around the world have hoped the French-Canadian welterweight would be keen on a move up to middleweight to fight Anderson.
“To reach that goal, of course I’m going to have to beat some of the best guys in the sport,” St-Pierre told MMA Junkie.
“Of course Silva is one of them. B.J. Penn was one of them. But this fight [with Anderson] is not written in stone. One of us can lose a fight, and if one of us loses a fight, the interest of the fight will diminish considerably.”
