Hamill to fight Ortiz at UFC 121

A light heavyweight fight between former UFC light heavyweight champion Tito Ortiz and Matt Hamill has been added to the UFC 121 event.

Sources have confirmed the fight to both MMAjunkie.com and MMAFighting.com.

The fight was unexpected for Ortiz as he coached Matt Hamill on ‘The Ultimate Fighter 3’ show.

UFC 121 is expected to take place on October 23 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California, and feature a heavyweight title clash between champion Brock Lesnar and Cain Velasquez.

Hamill is on a four-fight win streak coming into the fight with Ortiz in October.
