Hardy does not feel ready for Swick

British fighter Dan Hardy has admitted that he does not feel ready for a fight against Mike Swick.

Hardy managed to beat Marcus Davis at UFC 99 and has been reported to be Swick’s next opponent.

“With all due respect to Mike Swick, I think he’s a little ahead of me,” Hardy told Setanta Sports.

“He’s 9-1 in The UFC, I’m 3-0. He really needs to get a big fight like he’s been asking for.

“I got chance to spend time with Mike during the Fight for the Troops week, he’s a great guy and I wish him all the best.

“If our paths cross in the future it would be an awesome fight, but as it is right now, he needs a bigger fight than me.”
