Huerta could face Maynard at UFC Fight Night 19

UFC president Dana White has confirmed that they are looking to put a fight between Roger Huerta and Gray Maynard on the UFC Fight Night 19 card.

“We’re talking to Huerta coming back and fighting Gray Maynard,“ he told ESPN 1100 in an interview yesterday.

Huerta has just one fight left on his contract with the UFC and has recently rejected a new five-fight contract offer.

Huerta has hinted that he would like to pursue a career in acting instead of signing a new deal with the UFC.

“I don’t know what Huerta wants to do. We’ve tried to talk to Roger and see what he wants to do,” White revealed. “I really don’t know what this kid wants to do. We have one more fight him so we’re going to give him a fight with Gray on free TV and we’ll see what he wants to do.”
