Ronaldo ‘Jacare’ DeSouza has confirmed that he has signed a deal with Strikeforce.
The Brazilian jiu-jitsu world champion will make his debut for the MMA promoter in the fall.
“I am very excited that I will have the opportunity to fight in Strikeforce,” said the 29-year-old to Fighters Only Magazine.
“Strikeforce has an extremely deep roster of top middleweight fighters. I am looking forward to the challenge and to taking my career to the next level.”
Jacare joining Strikeforce is one of many moves that is expected under the new fighter-sharing agreement they have with DREAM.
