Johnson confident ahead of fight with Mahe

Lavar ‘Big’ Johnson is confident ahead of his fight with Hawaiian heavyweight Lolohea Mahe on Saturday.

The two will meet in the main event of the Strikeforce Challengers event on Saturday.

Johnson was quoted as saying by Five Ounces of Pain: “Training camp was great, it was real good. I’m back 100 percent, nothing has changed.

“I got a lot of people supporting me because I’m fighting at home. I don’t want to let anyone down. This is a huge fight for me.

“I expect us to stand up well. We’re just two big guys swinging for the fences. I’ll be looking for the KO in the first, for sure. I’ll take what he gives me, but I’ll be looking to get in and get out.”
