Junior dos Santos ready to surprise Gonzaga

Junior dos Santos believes he can surprise Gabriel Gonzaga with his speed when the two meet.

Dos Santos is confident ahead of his bout with Gonzaga on Sunday night at UFC on Versus 1.

“I am ready to go wherever the fight takes us, but I believe I will surprise him with my speed,” dos Santos told MMA Fighting. “I am very confident with my stand up.”

Dos Santos insists he is not worried about Gonzaga’s size. Gonzaga is about 25 pounds heavier than dos Santos.

“I am not worried about that,” dos Santos. “Again, I believe my speed will be superior.”
