Kelly wants to win fight with Volkmann for his Grandad

Paul Kelly is determined to win his next fight for his Granded who is on his deathbed.

Kelly is set to fight Jacob Volkmann at the UFC: Jones v Matyushenko event.

Kelly told Fighters Only Magazine: “Got a lot of fire in my belly for this fight, not just ‘cause of what he’s been saying. My Grandad is on his deathbed, he’s been ill for a while, he’s trying to hang in there for the fight. Chances are he won’t make it though, but he said to me ‘make sure you do it for me’.

“It’s put even more fire in my belly, I’m really close to my Grandad. Volkmann’s got a really bad night in store for him. He’s going to sleep, I know I’m going to drop him.”
