Liddell still keen on fight with Ortiz

Chuck Liddell insists he is still keen on a fight with Tito Ortiz, despite being scheduled to face Rich Franklin in his next fight.

Liddell was expected to face Ortiz as the two were opposing coaches on season 11 of The Ultimate Fighter. But Ortiz left late in the series.

“I still really want to knock him out. After the shit he said on the show, I really wanted to [fight],” Liddell told British health magazine Men’s Fitness.

“He ran his mouth and now I get to say ‘I told you so’ to Dana [White because] I told Dana that he wouldn’t fight me and that he was just going to use this to get on TV.”
