M-1 comment on ‘Breakthrough’ move

M-1 Global have commented on the moving of the August 28th ‘Breakthrough’ event from California to Kansas in an internal mail.

Fighters Only Magazine has managed to obtain the internal mail that M-1 Global sent to their fighters and managers around the world.

“In recent days the M-1 offices in Holland have been contacted by M-1 fighters in regards to concerns about FALSE reports concerning the status of our Aug. 28 “Breakthrough” show. I cannot stress enough how inaccurate these reports are,” M-1 Global wrote in the email.

“We had signed with a partner/investor in LA to co-promote the event at the LA Convention Center. It turned out that these partners turned out to be less than honorable. We decided we could not work with them and we elected to move the show.

“As such, “Breakthrough” will take place at Joe Kelly’s Memorial Hall in Kansas City. This is a better venue than what we had in LA (we were going to be on a convention floor instead of an actual arena)”
