Manager denies Daley-UFC deal

British welterweight Paul “Semtex” Daley’s manager has denied that his client has agreed a deal with the UFC.

Reports on Wednesday suggested Daley had agreed a four-fight deal with the promotion, but his manager insists nothing has been finalized.

“These reports are premature, we have signed nothing,” Daley’s manager told FanHouse Thursday morning.

“We’re in talks with groups, one of whom includes the UFC.”

Daley is searching for a new promotion, following the cancellation of the Affliction “Trilogy” event.

“I put a lot of effort into this camp, training and financially,” Daley told FanHouse last week. “It’s left me [expletive].”
