Marquardt targets title fight

Nate Marquardt admits he wants a title fight with Anderson Silva, following his one-punch KO win over Demian Maia last night.

Marquardt managed an impressive victory over the previously unbeaten Maia, who had an 10-0 record.

The 30-year-old American is now keen on a fight against middleweight champion Anderson Silva.

Marquardt told The Sun: “I’m very happy, but I want the middleweight belt.

“I’m not sure who’s getting the next title shot but if you want someone who can get in there and kick Anderson Silva’s butt, then you’re gonna give that shot to me.”
