Mousasi-Sobral moved to Strikeforce

The fight between Gegard Mosuasi and Renato “Babalu” Sobral, that was set to take place at the cancelled Affliction Trilogy event, has now been added to the August 15 Strikeforce card.

Babalu’s Strikeforce light heavyweight title will now be on the line, following the move.

“I am very happy that Strikeforce has resurrected this fight and that I will have the opportunity to become Strikeforce world champion,” said Mousasi.

“Strikeforce is one of the world’s top promotions and I am proud to be a part of their roster of world-class fighters,” he said.

Strikeforce has three title fights scheduled for their August 15th event.
