Nogueira hints at October return

Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira has revealed he could be set for a return to action in October.

Nogueira has been training in Brazil ahead of a return to the Octagon.

He told Blog Mano a Mano: “I’m going to the States in two weeks. I will meet the UFC officers to make a deal for my next fight. That might be in October.

“I’d love to match against Frank Mir. I wish this rematch badly and think that’s a good moment to make it happen.”

Nogueira has also admitted he would be interested in a fight with Mirko ‘CroCop’ Filipovic.
