Nogueira to fight Velasquez in Australia

Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira’s highly anticipated heavyweight bout with Cain Velasquez is expected to take place in Australia at UFC 110.

MMAjunkie.com says their sources claim the UFC is reportedly interested in booking the fight for the event Down Under.

Reports have suggested that Nogueira and Velasquez would meet in Las Vegas, Nevada, at UFC 109.

Nogueira has just recently returned to action after having undergone treatment for a severe case of staph infection.

“In February, I think I’ll be in shape,” Nogueira said. “I’d love to fight in Australia. If they put me on the card, I would love to fight there.”
