Ortiz closing in on Strikeforce deal

Tito Ortiz claims he is close to signing a deal with Strikeforce, according to MMA FanHouse.

Ortiz has also revealed that he is targeting an October return to fight Renato Sobral.

Ortiz is also looking for a future fight with Russian star Fedor Emelianenko.

He has confirmed that he will not make a return to the UFC as long as Dana White is in charge at the company.

“Not as long as Dana White is the president of the UFC,” Ortiz said. “I have too much integrity. I have too much respect for myself. … He has no respect for me.”
