Quinton Jackson will not fight light-heavyweight champion Rashad Evans at UFC 98, due to injuries.
Jackson is struggling with a hand injury and jaw complaint and has been ruled out of the clash that was scheduled for May 23.
The 30-year-old claimed he was ready to challenge Evans for his belt, after his fight with Keith Jardine at UFC 96.
The Sun claims Jackson will get a title shot against the winner of the Evans-Machida bout at UFC 98.
