Silva wants rematch

Wanderlei ‘The Axe Murderer’ Silva is desperate for a rematch with Rich Franklin following his loss to the American at UFC 99 in Germany.

Franklin impressed in the fight against Silva and the Brazilian struggled to make his devastating strikes.

Silva told The Sun: “The show was incredible. It’s amazing, It’s unbelievable. It’s our first show here [in Germany] and it was sold out.

“There were a lot of people here. It was incredible man. This crowd, I don’t know how many people were standing – the ground started to shake.

“It’s unbelievable. But please, I want a rematch. I know it’s the judges’ opinion, but I thought I won. It was fight of the night. I want a rematch.”
