Soares calls for fight between Marquardt and Henderson

Anderson Silva’s manager, Ed Soares, has called for a fight between Nate Marquardt and Dan Henderson to determine who will fight the Brazilian for his title belt.

Soares admits he was impressed by Marquardt’s impressive win over Demian Maia at UFC 102 on Saturday.

“[Silva] wants to fight the biggest fights possible,” Soares told MMAjunkie.com.

“Right now, I think Nate Marquardt had a great fight tonight. I think the fight that should happen is Nate Marquardt vs. Dan Henderson for the No. 1 title contender. That’s what I believe.”
