Mike Swick has been caught up in a war of words with Paul ‘Semtex” Daley.
The 30-year-old has criticized Daley’s win over welterweight title contender Martin Kampmann at UFC 103.
Swick claims it was a poor performance by Kampmann that resulted in Daley’s victory.
Swick told The Sun: “I was surprised by the result of Paul’s debut, but more so the way Kampmann fought.
“Daley is a great striker, but I don’t think he’s got much on the ground – he’s not a great mixed martial artist. He beat the worst Martin Kampmann I’ve ever seen.
“Kampmann played right into Daley’s hands. He got a win handed to him, and that’s it?
“Daley has a big mouth, but it’s going to get shut sooner or later. Even though I like Dan Hardy, I am glad I am fighting him and not Daley.
“Paul has just come on the scene and isn’t well rounded, while Hardy is a bigger fight and better test.
“Maybe I will fight Paul at some point, but fighting him does not excite me as much as fighting Hardy.”
