Diego Sanchez impressed with a winning start to his lightweight career at the UFC 95 at London’s O2 Arena last night.
Sanchez’s fight against Joe Stevenson was named Fight of the Night at the event in London.
Dan Hardy, Nate Marquardt, Demian Maia, Paulo Thiago and Terry Etim did all make impressive performances at the sell-out event.
Diego Sanchez and Joe Stevenson was handed a $40,000 bonus each for the Fight of the Night. Paulo Thiago was handed a similar bonus for Knockout of the Night while Demian Maia won the award for Submission of the night.
