Jimmy Wallhead has revealed that he was worried for a few minutes after his first round knockout of Brazilian Fabio Toldo at Ultimate Force on Saturday night.
Wallhead started slow in the fight but says a punch from Toldo helped him to get into the fight.
“I got dropped and I felt a bit rusty for the first two minutes,” he told Fighters Only Magazine.
“It’s been eight months since I’ve fought and getting dropped made me relax, I needed that.”
Wallhead managed to knockout Toldo with a right hand and followed up before referee Marc Goddard stopped the fight.
Wallhead said: “I was a bit worried for a few minutes after I knocked him out.”
“My team-mates said it was one of the worst knockouts they’ve ever seen.”
He added: “Hopefully I can fight at the end of the month, or next month, I want to get back in there again and stay busy.”
“It’s not just about getting into the UFC, it’s about money.”
