White confirms Affliction signings

UFC president Dana White has confirmed the signing of several fighters from Affliction.

Affliction cancelled their Affliction: Trilogy event and ceased promoting MMA events last week.

“[We’ve acquired] Vitor Belfort, Paul Daley, Ben Rothwell, Chase Gormley, Dan Lauzon, [Rafaelo] Oliveira,” said White in a conference call last night.

WEC are also set to sign several fighters including Javier Vazquez and Mark Hominick.

White has also confirmed that the UFC are holding talks with several other former Affliction fighters about a move to the organization.
