nice knife, but not worth $80
the cold steel ti-lite folder is a nice knife. the blade is LITERALLY razor sharp, as is the point. the zytel handle is slightly texturized, and combined with the holes in the handle, offers a very nice grip. nobody is taking this baby out of your hand. (they also sell a version with a titanium handle, but it adds about $50 to the price.) also, the size is excellent. i have pretty big hands, and this just feels right. the thumb stud, although you cannot relocate it for left-hand use, is well-placed, and with a slight push, expels the blade with a great SNAK. scary.
anyway, for some reason, the description does not mention this knife's most interesting feature. the blade has a small nub on each side which are covered in grooves. when you pull this from your pocket, the nub catches the corner of the pocket and the blade opens itself. while this may sound dangerous or awkward, it is actually quite natural and intuitive. this will be clipped into your pocket one second, and as you pull it out, the blade is open and locked by the time you get a firm grip on it.
anyway, even though this is my daily-carry knife, i got one of these at the swap meet for $48. don't pay more than $50 for this knife.
