+foam padded so you don't hurt yourself
+metal chain and swivels are more durable than corded ones
+cheap

-doesn't weight the same as a real nunchaku
-foam padding occasionally slides down a little
-one handle of mine is slightly bent

I definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to learn to use.
It's much better then the heavy wooden/steel ones for beginners because these ones wont send you to the hospital if you hit your head while training! <-Is a major +!!!!

The ballbearing system give you better motion range and control, the smooth uncoated black material and the dragons printed on it gives an elegant look to your training and demostrations.

Good for beginers
The foam is just soft enough so you don't hurt yourself. I used this type at a seminar and the ball bearing is easier to use than the ones with rope. The rope doesn't allow for a good range of motion like the ball bearing. These are good for beginers to use and to also practice Katas with.
