4 stars Book is Great but DVD just ok
This book is very well written. I have read up on health and fitness advice for years in books, magazines and online and probably heard most advice at one time or another. I'm familiar with good nutrition and what different foods are made of, as well as, what exercise format gives you the most benefits. Yet, there were some parts in this book that tought me a few new tricks and I also found it very motivational and interesting. It is definitely not just another diet book. I highly recommend it.
The DVD that comes with it has the workouts on it that match the instructions and pictured exercises in the book. However, even though the workouts aren't bad, I wasn't impressed either. In order to hit every muscle group you have to do all of it which gets a bit lengthy. I felt that it didn't make enough use of the time and there are definitely better workout DVDs out there.


5 stars Great Book/Great Workout
This is an absolutely great book. It has very sound information. No gimmicks, no quick fix solutions, just great information to get and keep you in the best shape. I'm currently studying to become a certified personal trainer and I love this book. The information is sound and right on target. I read the entire book in one sitting. It also includes an awesome workout DVD that I highly recommend. The workout is broken down into two circuits (A & B). Each of them run about 30 min. and each circuit include a full body workout that includes upper, lower and abs. There's also a thorough core workout (about 20 min.) that offers some really effective moves. You will need a set of dumbbells, an ankle weight, and a mat or carpeted floor. If you are a beginner, don't use weights, work your way up to using them. These workouts can be done by beginners to advanced just by increasing your weight size. Her cues are nicely done. Each workout starts with a warm-up, has cardio bursts, and ends with a cool-down and a stretch. Definitely worth the money.

Is the DVD included for the price of $9.99? Or do you need to purchase it separately? It doesn't say anywhere in the description that it comes with the DVD, but I've read about it in the comments.


5 stars This program is a must if you really want to change your life.
I purchased the book based on all the rave reviews and I am a true believer. I am a runner with overuse injuries and Jeanette has changed my life. I am seeing muscle tone in all areas, especially my legs, hips and gluts. My running has improved greatly. The workout is fun and fast with serious results. If you need to tone up in a hurry this workout is for you. I love Jeanette's holistic approach to health, fitness and weight loss.
